Is the Universe Infinite?
Answering the question that nobody has a direct answer
We mainly have two approaches to prove a thing. First, we seek facts and evidence with the help of modern technology. Otherwise, we use our imagination skills to create a theory based on environmental elements, behavior, and existing scientific findings. For example, we can prove that Earth is a giant spherical object by showing satellite imagery or imagining the shape by environmental and space observations.
Technology and human imagination have limits, so we still struggle with many scientific, cosmological, technical, and computer science-related questions that we can’t answer — or we’ll never answer. One well-known unanswered, unproven question in cosmology is “Is the universe finite finite or infinite?”. The current state of technology has no practical options to find the edges (if there are any) of the universe and we can’t imagine its shape.
Even if this question has no proven answer, we can undoubtedly create several ideas and build up a theory to answer this question. In this article, we’ll try to go beyond human imagination about the universe and try to build up a simple concept.
I’m not a scientist who studies cosmology. I am a computer programmer but I’m fascinated with this question. So, I won’t use advanced cosmological…
